Melange “the spice” is the name of the drug central to the Dune series of science fiction novels by Frank Herbert.
The most essential and valuable commodity in the universe is melange, a geriatric drug that gives the user a longer lifespan, greater vitality, and heightened awareness; it can also unlock prescience in some subjects, depending upon the dosage and the consumer’s physiology.
This prescience-enhancing property makes safe and accurate interstellar travel possible. Melange comes with a steep price, however: it is addictive, and withdrawal is fatal…

If it is not a hallucinogen, then yes, it will. Otherwise, you're fine. Hallucinogens don't show up in UA's. As for how long, I'm not sure.
2 important earnings numbers you need to look at. The EPS (earnings per share) needs to be a positive number. The higher the number, the better the earnings. Also, look at the P/E ratio. This number should be 20 or lower, but there are good companies out there that have a P/E higher than 20, so don't get to hung up on that. If a company has insiders who own stock, look at if they are buying or selling it. Selling large amounts of their own company's stock is not a good sign (for example: the Martha Stewart problem). There are limitations to how much stock an insider can own, and how much they can buy and sell at one time. Hope that helps.
