MLK's "I had a Dream" speech was about people being judged by their character rather than the color of their skin.
Obama's supporters misinterpret this to mean that it is acceptable to vote for Obama because of the color of his skin (black).
The kid is from a different "minority" (i.e., not black-skined), who wants the same misinterpretation based on his/her skin color (he/she appears to be Hispanic), so that a person having the same skin color would be elected President.
